The «Keyword Cleaner» module allows you to speed up the process of processing search queries – cleaning phrases from negative keywords and getting clean relevant semantics as a result.

Let's look at the entire functionality of the module in detail.

1. Raw Keywords

In this section, you can paste your list of keywords for cleaning, as well as import a previously saved list of found phrases from the Keyword Collection module.

Also in this same section, you can quickly clean the list of duplicates.

2. Working Area

This is the main part of the module – here you can either clean the list manually by clicking on 'unwanted' words, or use AI cleaning.

How to clean manually? Simply click on negative words and the system will automatically highlight these words in other phrases of your entire list and record negative words in the «3. Negative Words» section.

If you want to add a phrase of 2 or 3 words to negative words – before clicking, simply hold Ctrl/Command on the keyboard, click on the first word, then on the second (without releasing the key).

As soon as you release the key, the system will record 2 words in one line of the «3. Negative Words» section.

How to clean with AI? In order to speed up the process of cleaning from negative keywords using AI – click the «Clean with AI» button.

You will see a pop-up modal window:

Here you need to enter the URL of the target page for which you are preparing semantics and click the «Analyze» button (the analysis process is similar to the process in the «Keyword Collection» module).

After the system has proposed a page description for you, you can edit it.

* IMPORTANT – the more accurate the description, the better the cleaning result will be.

You can also add your custom instructions for AI processing. When the description is ready, click the «Find Negative Words» button:

The system will start processing your list of phrases, this will take some time.

You will see the approximate processing time in the modal window:

* IMPORTANT – if you did not get the expected result the first time – click the AI cleaning button again and try to change the business description (make it clearer and more understandable), and also try to change custom instructions.

When the process is finished, you will see that the system found a certain number of negative words and recorded them in the «3. Negative Words» section, and in the «2. Working Area» section highlighted all negative words with a red background.

Your task is simply to manually go through the list and check the correctness of adding negative words.

After you have gone through the entire list of phrases, click the «Get Cleaned Keywords» button at the very bottom of the section and the system will move phrases without negative words to the «Cleaned Keywords» section, and record phrases with negative words in the «Negative phrases» block of the «Negative Words» section.

3. Negative Words

Negative words fall into this section after manual and AI cleaning. Also, you can paste your own list of negative words into this window (for example, some standard list that you often use in projects) and click the «Mark Negative Keywords» button - after that, the system will go through the entire list of negative words in the «2. Working Area» section, find and mark all phrases that contain your negative words.

A little lower you can save your list of negative words and reuse it in other projects, as well as upload it when publishing a ready-made advertising campaign.

4. Cleaned Keywords

In this section you will see a cleaned list of phrases, which you can copy to the clipboard, download to Excel, or save for subsequent use in the «Clustering» module:
